Bryan Cave

New offices were designed for American law firm Bryan Cave. After an extensive building search in the City of London, the Richard Rogers designed building in Wood Street was chosen. A sophisticated palette of grey tones with highlights of bright blue to complement the primary colours of the base architecture was employed. The offices were planned over two floors with the conference and client facilities on the 6th floor. The lawyer’s offices were planned for the 7th floor with a direct connection to the conference floor via a custom-designed spiral staircase. The sculptural nature of the staircase forms a counterpoint to the rectilinear design of the meeting rooms and marks the open plan library/periodical area. All the furniture was custom stained and adapted from B&B Italia’s standard range to create a cost-effective, yet bespoke solution. Offices designed while at HLW.
